select 3 rows in a spreadsheet,
deselect the row in the middle,
copy does not work.

Hi,

it's not a bug !

The work in the same way our competitor does. It's simply a technical
limitation.

I tried this with Win98, Excel 2000. You are right when selecting 
cells (this isn't possible in Excel 2000 either), you're not right 
when you select the whole row (f.e: row 1 and row 3). These can be 
copied in Excel 2000. Ruko/fst: see for yourself if you want to 
reopen this issue based on this information.

One last word in favour of implementing this (and riscing that I'm 
wrong alltogether ;-)): fixing this issue might help fixing issue 
2977.
