Embedded Graphics Disappear Randomly in slides (also in Writer)

On creating and saving slides, embedded graphics and pictures disappear randomly and leave empty image placeholders in their place. Using OO1.1 on Windows XP fully patched with SP1 and all hotfixes. The graphics I was trying to embed were standard jpg images approx. 30k in size. Disappearence seems random but I have managed to re-produce the issue on the same system using the same details below. Problem is not immediately obvious and does not manifest straight away - timing is random. Other users have noted the same problem here on Redhat systems http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3436&view=next however I can find no bug relating to this specific issue seems to have been logged. Created a new document using an existing Powerpoint template. Template loaded fine with embedded company logo visible and correct. Created title slide and 15 plain slides with either plain text or embedded additional graphics. After a seemingly random time the embedded graphics in the slide began to disappear leaving image placeholders in their place. Deleting and re-inserting those graphics returned the images temporarily. On changing and moving between slides returning to the slide with the graphics showed the graphics had once again disappeared. As stated in the link above, linking to the graphics instead of embedding them worked and no further disappearence of the linked images occured. However eventually (and at a different time to the graphics in the slide) the embedded graphics on every slide created from the template disappeared.

This is a known bug and will be fixed in OOo 1.1.1

If I wanted to build a new version of Impress with the fix, want would I need to build? I.e. - which module did the fix for this go into? Not sure I can wait until 1.1.1 to resolve this... Or, do we know when this bug was introduced so we can revert to a safe version? This is making Impress basically useless for us.
CGU: I have two sample presentations that exhibit this behavior. Would you like the attached? Also, is there a CWS that I use to test the fix?
The fix seems to be isolated to module sfx2. Based on OOo1.1, updating the following files to the given revisions should fix this: sfx2/inc/docfile.hxx 1.26.88.1 sfx2/source/doc/docfile.cxx 1.134.16.1 sfx2/source/doc/objstor.cxx 1.118.16.2

The fix is integrated in OOo1.1.1 in Sols, Lin, Win. OOo1.1.1 will be available soon. Please reopen the issue if the bug still occures in OOo1.1.1
