Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 22244
Textbox inserted into header doesn´t print on each page.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:45 UTC
A watermark can be created by inserting a large textbox into the header. This is different to online help that says to create watermark by inserting a graphic into the background of a page via page style but it seems to be a sensible thing to do as well. So the watermark does show on the screen on every page starting from the second (the first having a different page style), and it does show on print preview. But it doesn´t print on every page except the second, where the textbox was inserted into the header. The bugdoc is identical to the attached file of Issue 28145. Issue 16183 has a file attached that shows the same problem. I have been asked by hi@openoffice.org to open a new Issue, however, so here we are. The reporter of Issue 28145 adds that the watermark on page two would print in dark black but not 10% grey as it has been set in native OOo format. Exported to pdf it would print 10% grey. I can´t reproduce this, however, with his original. The watermark here prints well in light grey, when it does get printed.

Issue number misspelled. Read Issue 21845 instead of 28145. Sorry.
confirming with OOo 1.1.0 German, Win XP Home not sure about component (maybe gsl/code?) > The watermark here prints well in light grey, when it does get printed. Same for me.
When I print page 2 of the BBBB.sxw attachment (using Linux which is probably not important) with a HP Deskjet 720C color printer, the watermark prints light blue (not gray and not dark black). When I saw this problem originally I printed to two different Black & White HP laser printers (models unknown) which produced the dark black watermark on page 2. I went back and double checked the watermark text and it is definitely set to 10% gray and not blue gray as it prints out on the deskjet printer. As before, the w/m on page 3 still does not print.
HI->pinkernell: Thanks for your coorperation. It has been found as duplicate to Issue:19919. There we thought at first it was a import problem. This Bug is definitively fixed to OOo 1.1.1
Set to Verified.
Verified with the install version 645m25_8733 = ok
Also OK with the OOo1.1.1 patch
