Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 2231
Window size does not get extended automatically to view all the duplicate text boxes in a window.
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:08:47 UTC
The issue can be replicated as: 1. Open open office presentation part. 2. Insert a slide. 3. Insert any alphabet e.g ‘G’ in the text boxes. 4. Click EDIT from the main menu bar and select ‘Duplicate’ option. 5. Insert no. of copies = 10; 6. Insert Placement values as : i. X axis >= 10 cm ii. Y axis = 0 cm iii. Angle = 0 degrees 7. Click OK keeping the other values as default values. 8. Check the text box for the new copies by clicking the text box and dragging. 9. Notice that window does not get extended to show all the duplicate text boxes ( in other words, all the 10 duplicate text boxes cannot be viewed). Note : Keep the font size minimum for the test, as higher font size allows lesser number of text boxes to view.
Hello Dieter, I think it is better, not to allow to duplicate presentation-objects. Such an operation with these objects does not make sense.
