Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 22581
Without Characters outside of Paragraph Border, Cursor cannot be moved
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:36:45 UTC
The cursor cannot be moved outside of a border created in a paragraph, unless there is text that follows the border. The workaround is to have text before applying the border to a paragraph.
Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test it/faster to confirm. (Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily/need more time) Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is small, but we still able to see the problem.
Created attachment 11389 [details] Cursor cannot be moved outside of paragraph border to continue typing the document
Can confirm this: With a border, a paragraph just looks like a table cell. When hitting Enter with the cursor on the leftmost upmost position in the first cell of a table, this results in a new paragraph before the table. I think the reporter likes to have OOo behave the same with a bordered paragraph. Changed to RFE.
After Return disable Border and shadow.
Hi, Thank you for your instructions. After hitting return and going to paragrph properties and hitting the borders tab and turning off borders and shading it worked. I am wondering if there should not be a better way of doing this, but as long as it works, it's fine.
