Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 22947
Option to leave equation editor open between equations
Last modified: 2014-04-09 10:04:07 UTC
The equation editor provides a convenient way to enter formulae into a writer document. Using the configure menu, the editor can be bound to a key for easy insertion of mathematical formulae into technical documents. Unfortunately, for us folks with slow systems, the formula entry dialog takes a significant amount of time to realize and unrealize. It would be great if there was an option to leave the formula editing dialog up and just change its content. The current system of popping up and down is very disruptive.
