Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 23276
Better Handout printing
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:32:39 UTC
provide better handout printing features. Such as # of slides per page, arrangement of slides on page, Note taking areas (blank lines). Also provide a way to save a layout, and also to make it so it is the default layout. I print probably 1000s of pages of slide handouts each year for my University courses, and so do most university students...A lot of students don't want to buy MS Office so this is the perfect solution as long as it is at least as easy as MS powerpoint to print handouts. Key point: remember settings/save settings. Prevent ink wasting accidents where you print out full colour full size slides because you opened a new presentation and clicked print and all the settings reverted (Big annoyance in MS powerpoint)
Reassigned to Bettina.
