Description okhayat 2003-12-18 22:45:10 UTC
In the above URL, you can see the pages are all LTR though the <div dir=rtl
align=right> is applied to the whole page.
What is wierd is that when you save a local copy of the page and view it, it
will display correctly.
This is the same in IE, Mozilla, and Epiphany!
A screen shot shows what I mean.

verified-
I've filed an internal issue for our engineering group to research this and fix
this. I'll update this issue when I have an update from the engineers.

<div dir="rtl" align="right"> won't work.
You should replace those with: <div dir="rtl" class="right"> instead.
Comment 5 okhayat 2004-11-08 07:44:05 UTC
The difinition of 'class="right"'
(http://www.openoffice.org/branding/css/tigris.css) is just changing the text
alignment to right. But what I need is text direction like in 'style="direction:
rtl;"' which I already use in a 'div' in my pages.

I'm reopening the issue as I still have problems with this, and if it's not
solved I'll continue to work on moving the pages to my own website.

The engineers has got back , and says it looks align but if you could provide
with a screen shot of how you would like it to be then based on that we can work
on it.

Jobin.

Still waiting for the screen shot.
Comment 10 okhayat 2005-04-07 10:49:03 UTC
I used RTL within my style sheet applying it to a table, and now the page looks
fine.
The issue is not valid any more for me.
