Hi,

I checked with WORD2000 and
1.1.0 German version WIN98SE: 645m19(Build8693) and can confirm all reported
effects.

WORD2000:
I find 2 charts in the document under headers "VSAA klientu kopējā amierinātība,
%" (pie chart) and "Klientu apmierinātības galvenie rādītāji" (column chart).

When I opened with OOo, I also see 2 charts - what is a good result, see issue
21956 ;-) - but the pie chart looks bad. You can compare in attached
"screenshots.sxd".

Might be interesting: when I tried to copy the chart by <ctnrl-c> - <cntrl-v>
from the '.doc' to a OOo DRAW document, it looked similar like it looks if you
open the '.doc' with OOo WRITER, but the caption is visible!
When I copied the chart by <cntrl-c> - <cntrl-v> from the '.doc' to a MICROSOFT
WORKS4.5a document, it looked ok.

I believe component "WRITER" is not good, because I also saw the problem in
DRAW. Any better Idea?

I suggest TM 2.0.

Questions:
- really all platforms?
- really all OS?
- better component?

Same effect with all checkboxes activated and all checkboxes deactivated in
Menu: extras / options / load.save / MS OFIICE

Hi richlv,

do you have this problem with all pie charts you create or only with this one?

General hint:
When I doubleclick into the charts, I get an error message in OOo and also in
WORD2000, I believe because of missing EXCEL. Relevant for this issue?

this file was provided by a user and that was the only chart at all that was used in those
documents.
but when i created some charts and tested it turned out that mostly problems are
caused by gradient fill. as you can see in charttest.doc, charts that have solid fills are ok, ones
that have gradient - quite distorted. still, first one (in klientuapmierinatiba_2001.doc) is
much more damaged and it could be the chart itself - mswordxp slows down when viewing that document -
but it still displays that chart fine. so the keywords could be - gradient fill :)

It seems your suspect concening "gradient fill" meets the point.

MRU->SJ: seems to be a problem of the graphic filter. The object itself is
imported correctly; it's view si wrong.

SJ->THB: This seems to be a metafile import bug, many thanks for taking over
this issue.

Will have a look.
Comment 14 ooo 2005-02-02 09:55:08 UTC
retargeted to OOo 2.0.1 after QA approval from SB
Comment 15 richlv 2005-03-23 11:54:11 UTC
in m87 legend looks better (it still has those diagonal lines though), chart
itself still has the same problems
Comment 16 thb 2005-05-27 23:49:14 UTC
Retargeted, due to resource constraints.
