Description samtoocan 2004-01-02 22:04:27 UTC
In the 'Format Cells' option screen:

Currently the following checkbox options exists :

  1. negative numbers red
  2. thousands separator

Could we have a third checkbox option :
  3. do not display zero values.

this is to effectively adding [=0]; to the format code.
this option is ideal for many users that wish to uncluter
a list of numbers by showing only values that are not zero value.
we understand that this can be done by 'user-defined' format code
whenever the user wishes to do this, but for an average user
this can be cumbersome and may take awhile figuring out on how to do it.
we believe the option 'do not display zero values' is so very commonly
used that it warrants be made more accessible but adding this as
a checkbox option in the 'format cell screen'.

thank you
