Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 24100
Marquee (text animation) repaint incorrect in Html Editor
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:22:01 UTC
Hi, I've found when editing a Marquee (text animation) in Html Editor junk can be left on the Marquee area. I've stated this is a repaint issue which strictly speaking it may not be. To reproduce the issue. Open the attached MarqueeIssue.Html file in Html Editor using a screen resolution of 800x600. 1. Once the message has scrolled into place and stopped, click once on the Marquee which is the yellow area. 2. Double click on the Marquee as if to edit the text 3. Click near the red paragraph marker in the white area. The text will start to scroll across the screen. 4. Wait until the word "This" is directly under the Bold button and click on Tools in the menu 5. Wait for half to one second and click on tools again. The text which was to the right of the Tools drop down menu remains as rubbish on the screen. The text starts to scroll in again so both the rubbish and the text appear in the Marquee area. I suggested 800x600 as this allows the issue to be easily duplicated. Thanks Kelvin

reassigend to es can you please take a look on this issue?
ES->OD I can't reproduce exatly the description but it seems we have big repaint problems with animated texts (reproduced on Linux and WinXP in a 680m19). - New HTML doc - Insert an animated text frame - type some text - move the frame on the page -> most of the time, the text will paint on the right of the frame (outside) before scrolling.
