Description sparg 2004-01-18 13:45:04 UTC
In Tools-Options-Spreadsheet-Print I have selected Print only selected sheets.
This works, it prints only the sheets I select.

But, if I do a page preview it previews all sheets, and will print all sheets
unless I exit page preview to print, which slows me down, and is unintuitive.

This gotcha catches out every new user at work that I introduce to
OpenOffice.org.

Page preview should be consistent with the setting for printing selected
sheets.

Hi Niklas,

what do you think, is it an defect or more like an enhancement and than a double
to Issue 22762 ?

I think it's more like an defect.

It is the same. The page preview is another view on the document, not tied to a
specific selection or sheet.

The page preview also doesn't have selected sheets, so everything has to be printed.

closing duplicate.

I Think explication of niklas.nebel is wrong. For example, if a print range for a sheet has been created, 'Page Preview' only will show the print range, nothing else. So the 'Page Preview' seems to be related to print properties.

I will do some more research, soon
