At bottom of screen, the button where you change the slide's, contains a bug, 
because when the limit slides of some presention (.pps) disappear, and you 
click in the right side if goes to infinity of slides, and doesn't stop I 
think.

(This presentation only has 23 slides, and I can change until infinity I think)

P.S:. I didn't found any issue here about this problem.

Do you get a new slide for each click or do you click only once and get an
endless amount of slides?

I got a new slide for each click as you can see in the printscreen.

This is not a bug but a feature.
this feature was created to insert a new slide very quick.
The slide will be inserted behind the selected slide and get the masterpage of
the selected slide.

e.g. 
4 slides in a presentation, slide 2 is selected.  After clicking in the right
area I get a new slide 3 with the masterpage of slide 2. The other slides (3,4)
will be shifted  behind the new slide 3.
