Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 25057
Replacement with “Replace with” in Autocorrect not only after the typing of a following space, enter, etc.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:21 UTC
In Autocorrect a string1 is replaced with string2 when after string1 a space, enter, comma, semicolon, bracket is typed. That is not always appropriate. For instance in partial quotations I want to replace three dots “...” with the single character “…”. There must be no space between the dots and the following or previous word (“…this is a partial quotation…”). So I suggest to make it possible to choose if the replacement is processed after a space, enter, etc. has been typed or when any character is typed after the string. I think this is useful also in other cases.
