Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 25089
PP import/export: text box position slightly off
Last modified: 2004-06-02 12:50:04 UTC
PP import/export: text box position slightly off see for yourself in the attached montage. I don't know whether it's import or export. The ppt text box is too much to the right in the image.
Created attachment 12889 [details] bug doc
Reassigned to Christian.
I can't reproduce the bug. Please attach the document to investigate the bug.
Without the document I can only guess what the bug could be. If the graphic is grouped please ungroup the graphic in PPt before importing the document. The grouping bug is fixed in the meantime and will be integrated soon.
Hi, graphics and text box are not grouped; I attach the documents!
Created attachment 13638 [details] text box in OOo Impress
Created attachment 13641 [details] PPt file from OOo Impress
I see the bug in the attached graphics but I can't reproduce it. When I load the attached file with OOo1.1.0 everything looks ok. Please tell me if you have changed any settings. Please tell me if the bug still occures with OOo1.1.1
the bug still occurs in OOo 1.1.1. I haven't changed any settings: all are "installation-default". open the Impress file, make a screenshot, paste it to a graphics app., open the PPt file, make a screenshot and compare it with the screenshot from the Impress file. you should see the difference.
it might be a list item position bug rather than a text box position bug. The files were created with OOo.
I did exactly what you wrote but can't reproduce the bug. Please tell me which OS and which PPT do you use.
I'm opening the PPt file with OOo! (should have made this clear) I created the PPt file from the Impress file with OOo and open both in OOo.
I reopen the issue
The export of the bullet indent doesn't work. Please have a look.
accepted.
SJ->Cannot fix, because feature is missing in PowerPoint : In PPT there is only one bullet indentation for each text object, this makes it impossible to apply different bullet text ranges to the corresponding paragraphs of a text. Our PPT export is now exporting the bullet settings for the first paragraph only.
