Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 25213
alternating row colors in autoformat
Last modified: 2020-02-09 12:48:04 UTC
In the spreadsheet portion of OOo 1.1.0 you can Autoformat the rows. If you pick an autoformat with alternating row colors (improves visibility) then you get alternating row colors. Great. But, if you delete or insert a row the colors don't change accordingly. The colors do not alternate accordingly to where the iserted row is. Can you correct this? Thanks.
Hi, this is not a valid bugreport but maybe an request for enhancement. So I changed the Issue type and re-assign it. Hi Bettina, one for you. IMHO this is not fixable but maybe you decide we should have it. Frank
-I to was looking for a way to create dynamically formatted alternating colored rows. Other spreadsheets often can use conditional formatting with the formula: =MOD(ROW(),2)=0 and then the format to be applied can be easily specified. This is broken right now. It is marked as an enhancement in Bug 13672. -Autoformatting may be more intuitive than requiring a formula. A fix that might satisfy this problem and improve autoformat usage would be to augment the "More" options functionality. Maybe eventually have an integrated conditional and autoformatting interface. I posted enhancement request bug 28915.
To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
