Description norbert2 2004-02-28 12:10:06 UTC
The hight of this gray area of the "frame" you can see in the attached
screenshot is not correct restored when re-opening the spreadsheet-application.
It always opens like you can see in the screenshot.

(I found it in the windows-version, linux not tested.)

Hi Norbert,

please attach a document showing your problem.

Frank

Hi Frank,

This is document independent and can be reproduced by just opening a default
empty spreadsheet if this "math-frame" was enabled in the last session.

Hi Norbert,

maybe, but if I ask for a document please attach one. It makes live much easier
and will consume time unnecessarily.

Thanks.

Here is your empty spreadsheet, you have requested... But like I already said,
its document-independent.

Norbert,

I've asked for a document showing your problem and not for an empty spreadsheet.

It seems that you could not understand what's necessary here. So if you could
not make a document showing your problem properly (I could not identify the
dialog you are using) please describe the problem in a precise way. This means a
step by step description. Crystal balls are no longer used.

Ok,

I've found out what seems to be meant.

Just open a new Spreadsheet and select function list from the insert menu. Now
drag the border between the functionlist and the description area up. Close the
document and open a new one. As you can see, the position of this border has
changed.

Niklas would you fix this ? I think the outcome is not worth the effort, but
it's your decision.

Yes Frank, this is what I meen. Sorry for this misunderstandings, first.

I hope you will fix this, Niklas. :-)
I do think that it is worth to fix, because the position of this border opens so
high, that the descripition field is much to big! And its really bothering to
re-position this border each time when opening a spreadsheet-document.

If it needs more time (I see "OOo Later" here)...

I think it would be not a big problem for you to just select a more suitable
default value for the height. So that the gray area is big enough to contain
the descriptions of each function, but does not waste more space ...

I think another default value can be chosen for the next finals, or not?

Then you can wait to implement saving for the height for "OOo Later"...
