This is really a Word document conversion issue, and probably counts as a
"chart" problem too. Simplest is just to look at the file I will attach to this
ticket (pity the web interface doesn't allow this in the first place). It looks
sensible in M$ Word 97, but rather jumbled in openoffice - certainly one
couldn't guess the equations. Consider it a test page :)

KA=>SJ/THB: seems to be a metafile import related font coordinate mapping 
problem.

The problem persists with OO beta 2 (1.9.79) with the same file and OS.
