Description levfire 2004-04-01 14:52:25 UTC
From a previous issue in the database (and from my own
experimentation), I understand that Impress can only display coarse
preview (BW) quality of imported encapsulated postscript graphics (though
supposedly print out to a postscript printer or via a postscript
interpreter will provide the full image quality). However, one of the
main uses for presentation graphics software to is run slideshows for
direct projection via a video projector. Given that the standard
graphics format for most Linux/Unix based software is postscript, it
is therefore important that Impress be able to display the full
quality postscript image while running. So please add this. (Maybe
by internal access to the ghostscript postscript interpreter?)

thanks
