More border styles would be great. As an example, I miss "dotted lines" (- - - -
-  instead of -----) as borders.

If you only have three different border styles I assume that your installation
is not completly correct. Please try to start the setup again and choose the
repair option. Than you should get round a dozen border styles amoung them 'Fine
dotted'.

Attached are screenshots of the dialog box. Are these all border styles or am I
missing some?

Ah sorry, I got you wrong. I thought you were talking about borders for chart
elements like bars for example. But your screenshot shows the writer dialog for
paragraphs.
So I change the component and owner.
->OS: I think we could do better here. Are you the right person to take care of
this?

The Issue you raised has been marked as 'Resolved' and not updated within the
