Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 27959
import/display of individual tab stops from MS Word file does not work
Last modified: 2004-04-19 11:54:44 UTC
I've created a document in OOo. For some paragraphs I've placed some individual tab stops in the ruler and aligned text. If I save that document with MS Word format and reopen it in OOo, then the tab stops are displayed in the ruler, but the text is aligned to the standard tab stops. If I open the document in MS Word, all is displayed correctly. If I save the document in OOo format, the bug does not occur.
Created attachment 14629 [details] test document, created in OOo, is corrupted when opening in OOo, looks fine in MS Word
This is the same problem as in issue 27602. Some "virtual tabs" imported at the position of the default tab stops destroy the layout of the paragraph. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 27602 ***
