Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 27979
Pdf figure support
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:38:03 UTC
This is a feature suggestion in reaction to the current discussion on issue 14163 (http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=14163). It would be nice if OO had support for including pdf format figures. A number of drawing applications (incl. Adobe Illustrator) can save pdf, which is often (much) more compact than the native format and/or EPS. Additionally, native support for inclusion of pdf figures would make it possible/easier to include a vector representation of EPS figures in the pdf exporter (e.g. by letting gs handle the ps2pdf conversion).
Reassigned to Bettina.
