Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 28328
CTRL-Z in table rewinds the document to the beginning
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:31 UTC
Situation: table, cursor positioned in the last line, last cell press tab -> a new row is appended press CTRL-Z to undo append a new row, the empty new row is deleted, the cursor jumps to the very beginning of the document. I think it should either stay just below the table or return to one of the cells in the last row of the table (preferable to this just above the cursor).
confirming behaviour with 1.1.2rc linux build, however if the reason why issue 2961 and also 3061 was closed invalid would also have to be applied for this issue: from issue 2961: ------- Additional comments from sba Mon Jan 28 10:40:01 -0700 2002 ------- For performance reasons, editing styles is never stored in the undo buffer. Undo is dedicated mainly for document content. Sytyles are part of the layout, not content.
maxweber -> QA: should we close this as duplicate of 2961 or is this issue a completely different case?
No, this issue is completely different and does not deal anyway with Undo in Styles. MRU->HBRINKM: another annoying variant of "Undo in table pushes cursor to first position in document". Should be fixed for OO 2.0.
Should be a duplicate of issue 18014. Please close or reassign this one to QA.
