Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 28648
cell-reference-fields: blue borders are not always displayed
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:43 UTC
Please ... - open an new spreadsheet - open the goalseek-window: The cursor is in the edit-field of "Formelzelle" (german version - click any cell: The reference input is added and gets a blue border. This is OK. Now ... - switch to the second (or any other) sheet - do the same as described above: Now blue border is shown around the referenced cell!
typing error: "Now" -> "No"
hello norbert, i cannot reprocude this with 1.1.2RC as here indeed a blue border is printed. what could i be doing differently from your description?
Hi Max, I forgot to mention, that it is important to close the goalseek before switching to a sheet other then 1. You have to open the goalseek while already beeing in sheet 2 or greater ...
confirming behaviour with 1.1.2RC
Hi Niklas, one for you Frank
Due to time problems this is re-targeted to OOo2.0
better secription of the problem: For sheet numbers >1: The blue border is only shown for reference-cells to sheets other than the sheet where the goalseek has been opened. (I correct the summary.)
"secription"->"description"
This is NOT a goalseek specific issue. Other windows are affected, too. But the bug behaves inconsistent for the different windows that use cell-reference-fields. The "Function Wizard" is affected by this bug, too, like the goalseek. "Edit Print Ranges" never shows blue borders: "Edit Print Ranges" opened from a sheet >1 (sheet#2 or higher) does not show blue borders, ALTHOUGH the inputs are from the same sheet. (cannot be from other sheets) "AutoFormat Chart" is not affected by the bug: "AutoFormat Chart" seems to be the only window where blues borders are always shown. Idependent from which sheet it is opened and to which sheet the references are pointing. Corrected summary.
