Description lohmaier 2004-05-06 19:45:00 UTC
this is a follow-up to issue 21377
Since the <F9> is hardcoded and cannot be changed to update the display in math,
OOo should not offer the option to remap this function in Tools|Configure keyboard.

i do not understand exactly what you mean, i'am able to reconfigure the f9 key in
math and for OOo in any aplication..... but i think i don't get your issue 100%

can you give us a step by step advice of what you did and what you expected to
see and what realy happend?

sorry for not being clear enough. It's about the <F9> in math documents/formula
edit mode.

Try the following:
0) Open a Math document
1) Choose Tools|Configure -> Keyboard
2) Select the entry for <F9> and remap the key to View|Zoom in (or any other)
3) Close the dialog and return to the document.

Now write some keys and try to zoom in using the shortcut <F9> that has just
been defined.

Actual result:
    It won't zoom in.
Expected result:
    Zoom-factor should increase

Instead <F9> still works as "refresh"

<F9> cannot be used to anything other than to update the display.
