Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 28894
major problems with expanding cells when editing
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:14 UTC
Please download the attached ZIP-archive. It contains documents an screenshots of the following problem: test1.scx test1.bmp: - double-click the green cell or select it and press F2: with the cursor you can navigate through the invisible content. - enter something: extreme strange things happen test2.sxc test2.bmp: - select cell C15 - double click it or press F2: the cell expands up to 2/3 on the second cell next to it - double click or press F2 on any empty cell - press ESC - select cell C15 - double click it or press F2: Now it is expanded as expected. (Only with the minor problem mentioned in issue 27337.) It looks like this happens because the cell has centered applied. You should also check if similar problems happen with left- and right-alignment. (You may also have a look at issue 27337.)

Maybe these problems are caused by the same programmin-erro(s) as the minor problem described in issue 27337.)
typing errors: "programmin-erro(s)" -> "programing-error(s)"
(Note: The last description where the cell "is expanded as expected" is hard to reproduce. It does not work always. But I think that's not so important...)
Hi Niklas, test1.sxc has a problem with left indents. Frank
