Description bizna 2004-05-15 11:13:52 UTC
This problem is also in 1.1 Hebrew edition. Both on xfce4 and KDE3.2, so my
guess is that the problem is with OOo. The dist is MDK10 final, but it was also
in the community version.

When mounting a file system (samba, resierfs, fat32) with iso-8859-8, OOo shows
no filename, and the file's size shows as zero (0). With UTF-8 it shows question
marks.

I can save the file with a hebrew name, but then no other application shows the
name properly, or erase the file.

Tried several /etc/sysconfig/i18n definitions: he_IL, he_IL.UTF-8, he_IL.
ISO-8859-8. But nothing helped.

If this is a problem only found on my PC's, then i'm sorry for wasting your
time.
