Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 29669
how to locate transparent objects? feat.: object navigator?
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:34:22 UTC
Hi, at least when you print and have *transparent* objects you get a warning. But there seems to be no way to locate them. Select all (Ctrl-A) doesn't help since you receive just one big selection of everything. Further: Selecting suspicious areas by a selction square does only help if you really have nothing else but the transparent object in there (otherwise the visible object is selected). So, if you concider also the other problem you normally have with selection (when some small object is behind another one) what do you think about this: Having a navigator listing all objects on a slide. So you could activate/select (even modify) them by clicking to (or browsing trough) this list of objects. This would be a significant feature. I've seen something similar with corel draw. But it seems to be a quite huge effort (?)
Reassigned to Bettina.
