Description kyoshida 2002-02-05 13:49:10 UTC
One thing that I would really make use of is hatching fill in a cell. Dot
hatching, diagonal hatching, cross hatching etc. are almost necessity to
someone like myself who still needs to rely on black and white laser printer
to publish my work. Thanks.

Make hatches (from Draw/Impress) available as filling for cells.
Note: This is also a necessary feature for MS Excel filters.

Is there a solution for this issue in sight? Maybe for 1.1.1?
Comment 7 cxy 2007-01-20 02:10:52 UTC
Or for 3.x ?
Comment 8 jitin_21 2007-07-26 05:30:24 UTC
hatching is not available in OO. if we open MSoffice files it looks totally
different.
Comment 9 parity 2008-10-05 15:25:21 UTC
Is it planned to add this feature in OpenOffice.org 3.x?

This is a very basic functionality which should be possible in a productivity
office suite.

Hi,
I confirm this is a real and basic need for spreadsheet document (as a whole or
as a part of a wider document) when black and white printing is regular (that is
the case for most of research and industrial papers to be published by regular
editors).
Thank you for considering it the soonest.
With regards.

added myself as cc
changed keyword to ms_interoperability and accordingly priority to P3 (which
doesn't make that much difference ;-) )
is bh still the right owner for this?

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".

Gosh last comment is 2010 ! That's 8 years ago. Is this ever going to be studied ?

Please make this option soon. Was very useful in Excel which I have abandoned.

Best regards
