Description khendricks 2004-07-06 19:15:35 UTC
Hi,

This issue if just for those interested in having an interim Audio Plugin support for the OOo 1.1.X
series of builds.

Attached is an archive with all of the peices needed for X11 based platforms
to have an audio player plugin that will play audio files (like wav, au, snd, aif, etc)

Complete install / build instructions are in the archive itself.

If interested, grab audio_plugin_support.tar.hz and unpack it and build it in your OOo 1.1.2 or later
source tree.

Feedback welcome.

PPC Linux will probably ship with this plugin installed for OOo 1.1.3 and later.

Kevin

Hi,

Just in case I wanted to add this note:

The above patches and code have been tested and work on Linux PPC using any recent X11
and MacOSX but ONLY with XDarwin 4.4.

There seems to be a bug in Apple's X11 1.0 that causes reparenting of widgets from working
properly (results in a nasty crash sometime), that has been fixed in XDarwin 4.4 based releases.

Comment 5 khendricks 2004-07-09 02:00:11 UTC
Hi,

Added an updated audioplugin.tar.gz that replaces the file of the same name inside
audio_plugin_support.tar.gz.

This version fixes a few minot things and adds an interval timer to make sure all audio streams are
properly closed at the end of the sound file if not looping.

Hi,

Committed extensions_plugins_fix.patch to 113fix2 and I have updated audioplugin (fixed some small
bugs) support but will not comit it until sndfile and portaudio are approved.

missed the 1.1.4 slot, retarget to 1.1.5
Comment 8 Martin Hollmichel 2005-06-13 12:07:10 UTC
sndfile and portaudio are available on SRC680 codeline, the audioplugin source
don't have licenseheader, we have to clarify this before integration, set target
to 2.0.1 therefore.
Comment 9 Martin Hollmichel 2005-11-04 09:37:55 UTC
move target to 2.0.2

jjmckenzie -> mh, ericb

Is this issue for the 1.1.x series or for the 2.0.x(SRC 680) series?

Move target to OOoLater, please change accordingly if needed.
Comment 12 milek_pl 2007-10-09 19:25:58 UTC
khendricks is not doing any tasks in OOo anymore -> I'm reassigning the task to
the owner of the component.
Comment 13 Marcus 2017-05-20 11:30:01 UTC
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
