Description andrejk 2004-07-08 18:12:42 UTC
When opening an excel spreadsheet created using open office, in excel xp 2002,
all cell containing array functions display error messages. I have to go to
every single cell, press ctrl+shift+enter and then it works. The array functions
displayed by excel in edit mode look ok, but somehow cause errors.

Hi,

using a document created by myself does not show the described behaviour, so
this is not reproducible. Please attach a document showing the problem. Best
would be an Excel and an OOo Calc version of the doc.

How do i add an attachment? The 'attachments:' label in the issue is not a link.
Comment 3 frank 2004-07-09 09:54:17 UTC
Just use the link 'create a new attachment' next to the Attachments: sign.

I don't see that link.

Hhhhm, you have to be logged in to create an attachment but you have to be
logged in to add a comment. The link is to the right of the Attachments: section
right under the Keywords input line and directly left of the (proposed patch,
testcase, etc.) text.

Answer to what?

It doesn't work, and it's very easily reproducable: open the test doc in sxc
format, then save it as an xls document from openoffice, and then open the xls
document in excel. You'll see a bunch of error messages: #VALUE!

Sorry AndrejK,

my fault, I thought that the documents are my testdocs but forgot that I
attached them from your PM.

Nevertheless, Daniel and I found out that this is a double to Issue 3724.

Again sorry for any inconvenience.

Frank

Comment 13 daniel.rentz 2004-08-06 13:30:26 UTC
additional note: even if issue 3724 looks completely unrelated to this one, it
is the same place in the source code.

I will attach this bugdoc to the old issue.

Ok, no problem, thanks
Comment 15 daniel.rentz 2004-10-22 12:31:55 UTC
fixed in OOo 2.0
