Description phbobo 2004-07-08 18:26:51 UTC
Hi,

I am using oocalc a lot for professional purpose. Since two days, I can't
copy/past cells any more. When I do <ctrl-c> and then <ctrl-v>, it erase a lot
of cells (in horizontal and vertical) and paste the number! (not the formula!).

When I try to "Paste Special"? ("Collage Special" - my version is in French ;-)
), it opens the usual "Paste Special", not the one from oocalc. I mean that it
show a menu where we have to choose between "Not Formated Text",
"openoffice.org1.1.1-Classeur" and so on.

What is wrong, and I can I fix that?

To solve that, I have removed everything and reinstall everything without
prelink (I had prelinked before), but without success.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Philippe.

Hi phbobo,
sounds very strange.
Did you change something in the systems environment? Maybe a external clipboard
like 'xclipboard' or KDE's 'klipper' is running.
Does the clipboard in writer or impress work well?
BTW, the behaviour of 'paste special' depends on the content of the clipboard.
There are AFAIK two dialogs that can come up.
And, what do you mean by 'install with/without prelink'?

Best regards, Peter
