Description quetschke 2004-07-13 00:08:41 UTC
While trying to solve issue 30895 I found the following strange problem:

Import the file "rsc/doku/feinkonz.43/rsc.doc" from the OOo sources into
OOo 1.1.2. Get it here if you don't have them ready:
<http://tools.openoffice.org/unbranded-source/browse/*checkout*/gsl/rsc/doku/feinkonz.43/rsc.doc?rev=1.3&content-type=application/msword>

You see the documend has headers and footers. Now save it to disk, as OOo *.sxw
document, close all open documents and reopen it.

Now all headers/footers are gone. (At least on Windows XP, didn't try other OS)

I'd say, heck, who needs Starwriter ;), but OOo obviously looses information
between save and reload.

Other examples:
   $ ls doku/feinkonz.43
   rsc.doc  rscerror.doc  rscinst.doc
   $ ls doku/schriftw.16/
   change.doc

MRU->DVO: The mentioned document is a StarWriter DOS file. When saving this to
.sxw format and reloading, the currently active page style "GS Starlab-Layout"
is lost.
