Scenario: You have some documents you have often to work with on different
locations (so you can't put them in your workfolder). It would be nice to have a
customized list for these favorite documents. This list should work like the
picklist or bookmarks in a browser so you can easily open the document by a
single click (without using the file open dialog, which could be time consuming
for large network paths)

For example the Ultraedit text editor has these two outstanding features:
- a Favorite Files dialog where you can enter your favorite files, easily add
the open file(s) to the list, select and open them by double-click
- a project menu where you can maintain multiple lists of favorite files by
name, with some clever automatic project housekeeping features
Would like that in SO, too

Hi,
was this feature forgotten? - See a story on heise which lists special
extensions which also named this wish/feature.

May be we should close this issue because it exists nowadays as an extension or
it should be re-assigned to requirements-lists.
Any suggestions?

"bh" is no longer the address for requirements. Don't know why this issue did
not get changed.
