Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 33682
Powerful UI of Envelope auto-create based on database is needed!
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:32:41 UTC
Envelope function can be use now in Src680 m51,and users can use data in database to create a set of envelopes.(Writer's mainmenu->"Insert"->"Envelope...") This feature is great. But,have someone try to use OOo's envelope function? have anyone try to use Ms office's envelope function? Ms office's envelope function have a wizard which guide users to choose type of the envelope. But look at envelope function of OOo's.Barely can use! Shouldn't we add a wizard here instead of the stupid dialog?
Reassigned to BH.

Hi, I am from Open System & Chinese Information Processing Center(OSCIPC),Institute of software,Chinese Academy of Sciences. I think OOo has rawly implimented the functions of Ms Office's and the performance of these functions is discourage! The function of Envelope is such an example! All big offices need the envelope function,it is just a powerful feature of office automation. But OOo does not work well. The dialog disappoint me.So please add a wizard here!Like Ms always does!
Keyword oooqa removed, as this is an enhancement. Please don't put qa keyword into feature- and enhancement issues.
if it's an enhancement, let's treat it so :) (in particular: confirm it as valid RFE, and assign it to the RFE evaluation group)
