Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 33788
two envelope orientations are highlighted
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
OO 1.1.2, Windows XP Pro, HP 722C printer The first time I insert an envelope, after selecting the Printer tab, and Print from bottom, the left-most envelope and the one last selected are both highlighted. Is the left-most envelope selected by default? This may have something to do with the other envelope problems people are having. Should OO be able to figure out the orientation of the envelopes automatically from the Windows printer info?
MRU->HI: pls have a look.
HI->OS: As the reporter mentioned, it should be possible with windows but how to handle with other operating systems?
It's not possible to detect the position of the envelope. Neither on Windows nor on any of the other supported platforms.

->ssa: The selection is done in a toolbox. The highlighting in a toolbox depends on the focus. The toolbox initially has the focus because it's the first child element of the TabPage. When the page gets the focus the left element will be highlighted. As it is not easy to distinguish hightlighting from selection I'd like to be able to set the hightlight position equal to the selecion position at the time the page is activated but the toolbox doesn't have a "SetHighlightItemId()", there's only a "GetHighlightItemId()"
retarget due to limited resources
ssa->pl: this must be checked with the NWF representation of selected (i.e. checked) and focussed toolbox items on different platforms/themes. it seems that they cannot be distinguished easily.
