Description jnadolny 2002-03-08 13:55:45 UTC
I have entered such issue some time ago, but it looks it disappeard...

So:

- I have created new spreadsheet
- I have entered some random text in many cells
- I have marked some cells with mouse and left button pressed
- I have moved vertical position bar with mouse several times

As a result numbers in column with row numbers are partly damaged as you can see
on attached screenshot.

Sometimes it happens also that text entered in cells is also damaged.

After pressing PageUP and PageDown everything looks OK again.

Hi Jakub,

your first Issue regarding this problem is not lost. It's still open.
The Issue ID is 1494.

It's set to WORKSFORME as we can not reproduce it. And it seems only
you can. Maybe it's a problem with your X-Server. Have you upgraded to
4.1 ? Or it's a problem with you graphics card. Is your Linux
Installation a standard Installation or do you have compiled some
modules, the Kernel or something else by yourself ? Have you tried it
with a different machine ?

As we still have Issue 1494 I set this one as double.

Best regards

Frank

Hi Frank,

thanks for information.

Yes, I have X server 4.1. It is problably not a problem with Linux
configuration or distribution because I have tried it with RedHat 7.1
and Mandrake 8.0 and 8.1 and results are the same.I though that it
should not be also problem with my graphic card, because this problem
I have seen only in OO - not in any other appliacation. But anyway I
will try to check it on another machine, thats good idea.

thanks
Jakub
