Description kb0000 2004-09-13 07:48:30 UTC
steps to reproduce:
1. open openoffice.
2. open a new text document.
3. enable change recording (edit -> changes -> record).
4. disable change showing (edit -> changes -> show).
5. add a table to the document (insert -> table).
6. enter the last (lower right) square in the table.
7. press <TAB>, a new row is created.

at the same time as the new row is created the Edit->Changes->Show enables.

it should not enable itself in this manner.

could not reproduce.
Are you using a localized version or a version that came with your distribution?
Comment 2 kb0000 2004-09-13 21:01:25 UTC
i used the linux installer from openoffice.org.
english version.

this is strange however, as i treid to follow my own steps in a new document the
problem does not occur. but it happens in the other document.

i have created a file that demonstrates the problem, will upload it here any minut.
open the file, enable recording, diable show. enter the last (lower right) cell,
press tab, and type some letters. have a look at the Edit -> changes -> Show
setting. it should have changes.

if not, put the marker outside the table, type some letter, put the marker at
the last (lower right) cell in the table, tab, and type,. have a look at Edit ->
Changes -> show now.

this is how i was able to reproduce it with the document i soon upload.
