Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 34944
TOC erase from DocBook XML file
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:19:26 UTC
When i create a doc from the /usr/local/OpenOffice/share/xslt/docbook/DocBookTemplate.stw ; and make an index the TOC is erased from xml file when i save it in DocBook xml format. If i open the xml again the TOC is no more here.

-update- i'm already using OOo 1.1.2 in french ; i'm going to download the 1.1.3 in english and will test and will tell you the result. Just a last information ; TOC disappear and Images (i've included) too !
Created attachment 18123 [details] Test File with TOC + image
Created attachment 18124 [details] Test XML File made by "save as" from test_index.sxw
I've tested OOo 1.1.3 ; here is the results : 1) i open test_index.sxw 2) i copy all the content of this file 3) i open /usr/local/OpenOffice/share/xslt/docbook/DocBookTemplate.stw 4) i do my paste 5) i save as xml 6) i close my xml file and receive an alert "saving in an external format may have caused information loss . Do you still want to close?" 7) i answer Yes. 8) i open my test_index.xml i just save and then the TOC is not here ; and picture too. in the xml file ; with vim ; i can see the following line : <inlinegraphic fileref="" width=""/> but nothing about the path nor name of the file. to illustrate that ; i join the 2 examples files.
Confirmed. Using OOo 1.9.77, following the reporters instructions, the saved XML file does not contain the expected data. I also got an Access Error, while doing the save as XML, but thats a side issue.
reassign back.
DocBook XML are SAMPLE FILTERS. Also in OOo 2.0 (m106) the bug exists. We have no resources to enhance the sample filter at the moment.
xmlfilter for you
