Description ahjulsta 2004-10-15 11:13:19 UTC
Line breaks are inserted incorrectly when editing the attached document.

To reproduce:
- Open attached bug.sxw.
- Place insertion mark at the end of the paragraph (just after the letter 'o'.
- Type for example 'tt. Fax'

watch the hilarious (or disturbing) insertion of line breaks of movements of the
insertion mark.

I use 1.1.3 Norwegian on XP SP2.

Hm, I don't have such a problem (tried wirth _OO 1.1.3 on Windows)... maybe I
just cannot see it. Please attach a screenshot, how it looks on your system.

The attached screenshot is after typing

't'
't'
'.'
<backspace>

(just as an example)

The behaviour is strange regardless of having autocomplete on or off. (Not sure
if it is identical, though.)
Comment 5 ahjulsta 2004-10-15 12:43:43 UTC
Changing the font to Times New Roman appears to fix the problem. The original
document used Palatino Linetype (v1.40), an OpenType-script (?) (Heidelberg
Druckmaschinen AG).

Maybe this is an issue with the font?

strange things with Palatino Linotype -> duplicate.
