Description richlv 2004-11-01 09:33:35 UTC
sometimes it is desired to keep font size of some object when whole chart is
resized, right now it seems that there is no such functionality.

there should be a way to lock font size for chart objects - title, legend text,
probably others (axis texts ?)

this could be implemented as a checkbox at the font size listbox - "lock size"
or similar.

When you have double-clicked the diagram so that it has grey borders, you will
find an icon 'A with arrow' and tooltip 'Scale text' in the left toolbar.
Uncheck it and the size of the fonts will not change, when you alter the size of
the diagramm.

oh, and i recently wondered what does that button do :)

but it seems that this feature sets scaling for all chart objects, so i'll try
to rephrase :

there should be an ability to turn scaling on/off per chart object (title,
legend etc).

should i open a new issue ?

Hi Bettina,
as discussed with Ingrid we think
its make sence to lock the font size per element.
kla -> richlv: i´ve added "per element" ok?
