Description carsten.driesner 2004-11-02 11:42:39 UTC
Currently we use normal windows on X for our floating windows. This design has
several bad impacts on the visual presentation and their behavior.
See #i12701 which must be solved on system independent layers due to this
design. We have to fix this for our next version.

SSA->PL: Not sure if this still applies, on the other hand a rework of the
floating windows would be required anyway if we want to have the same behaviour
for floating windows as we already have for floating toolbars. But I don't see
this for OOo 3.0...
Comment 2 philipp.lohmann 2007-02-26 17:37:53 UTC
pl->cd: You could use the same style as our undocked toolbars do (see also the
rollup/rolldown issue).
Comment 3 carsten.driesner 2007-03-08 12:08:51 UTC
cd: We are working on this issue as we want to have docking windows support in
the frame based layout manager. This would be a sub-issue of this effort.
