Description fridrich.strba 2004-11-09 19:14:00 UTC
Hello, I am a developer in libwpd project and working on WriterPerfect
(WordPerfect import filter for OOo Writer) Since the writerperfect01 cws got
merged into the main tree of OOo 2.0, I would kindly request a CVS write access
in order to be able to work on it. I have signed the JCA.

this is fine by me, but you need the project lead's approval.

Louis - I have no idea who is the 'project lead' for the writerperfect filter,
but since Fridrich actually wrote the code ( I just merged it up ), it would be
slightly ridiculous if he wasn't given access to improve it ASAP :-) I believe
it falls under the 'sw' umbrella overall though.

Martin - any thoughts ?

I think Andreas should be aware of this issue...
Comment 6 andreas.martens 2004-11-10 15:55:36 UTC
Yes, of course.
I appreciate the contribution of Fridrich and I'm pleased to approve his write
access for my project.
Fridrich, I assume you're familiar with our concept of childworkspaces (CWS) for
code changes and integration into the product?!
Comment 7 stx123 2004-11-10 15:58:30 UTC
I think we can move this issue forward independent of the answer (which
nevertheless is interesting).
Comment 8 fridrich.strba 2004-11-10 16:45:25 UTC
As for the question concerning my familiarity with CWS, I read and understood
following: http://ooo.ximian.com/cws-quickhowto.txt
I am pretty confident that I will not create any mess :-)

reopening in order to enlarge my request
Comment 13 fridrich.strba 2005-04-30 16:27:47 UTC
Could I get write access at least for the project "external" (where libwpd is)
and "sw" (where is writerperfect). The later could be OK, because I did not need
to commit anything to writerperfect in my recent CWS.
BTW: It could be good if I could write also into some other modules that concern
WP importer. Naturally, I am not intending to modify anything that I am not sure
about and principally I intend to work on fixing the issues for "wp" component.
Comment 14 fridrich.strba 2005-04-30 16:39:05 UTC
Just for more detail: in order to upload a new bugfix tarball of libwpd, I need
to be able to delete the old tarball, so I need also "delete" rights.
