Open Powerpointfile with Powerpoint.
Start Slideshow. Look at results.

Start Impress
Open powerpointfile

Conclusion: Implementation of this kind of building slides is badly implemented.
When you select an object and you rename it, the name does not appear in the
Order window (Animation Effects| fourth icon order.
Orderwindow to small, grouped objects can not be seen apart,
When working on it, the numbering is not displayed on the main window.
Clicking on object gives corresponded object on main window.
Clincking on object in main window has no effect on the Orderwindow when it is
docked in combination with task window.

Importfilter does not work correct, editing is nearby impossible.

Reassigned to Christian. Please hav a look if this is a bug or an enhancement.
Thanks.

The presentation looks much better then a short time ago.
But there are still some differents.
I think there are already bugs about the differents.
Please have a look and set this issue to duplicate to the custom animation bugs.
If there is no animation bug any time longer send this bug back to me. I examine
the differents and write new bugs about them.
Comment 4 thb 2005-09-12 11:04:24 UTC
@cgu: apart from the UI problems (custom animation taskpane, selecting shapes
when an effect gets selected, no 'numbers' on the animated shapes, like PPT), I
still see the following problems:

 - animation _before_ all other shapes (issue 37778)
 - path effects wrong (wrong direction, wrong path)
 - effects too slow (->CL)
 - seems to have much more effects generated than in PPT (->CL)

Would you file the corresponding issues?
Comment 5 thb 2005-12-07 12:32:53 UTC
@cgu: any news on this? Can we close this issue?
Comment 6 thb 2006-01-18 11:48:07 UTC
@cgu: please handle the remaining issues.
Comment 7 christian.guenther 2006-01-19 18:22:08 UTC
Set to new and change the target.
Comment 8 christian.guenther 2006-01-19 18:24:19 UTC
There are still some bugs when I run the presentation.

1) when I start the presentation the heart looks wrong and the red arrow is
missing.
maybe duplicate to issue 49719
2) The 1st , 2nd and 5th step (click) of the presentation has wrong motion paths.
maybe duplicate to issue 41995

3) in the 3rd step (click) the wrong small graphic (EVS) disappears.
In my mind there is no issue for this and should be fixed with this issue.
Please have a look.
Comment 9 thb 2008-06-27 11:54:00 UTC
I see most of this fixed in dev300 m22 - could you recheck, and write separate
issues for the remaining problems?
Comment 10 christian.guenther 2008-07-28 16:11:26 UTC
- When I start the presentation some objects are invisible which should be
visible. This is duplicate to issue 62996.
- you have to click to star the first effects, in PPT they start automatically.
this is duplicate to issue issue 90420.
- There are some group objects which still behaves wrong. The 'Resource Group
Object' and the 'EVS object'. Please have a look, why the animation of this
objects are still wrong.
