- open a new text document
- insert a date field control (View|Toolbars|More controls|Date field)
- open the property browser for this control (context menu -> "Control...")
- set the "Drop down" property to "Yes"
- switch off the design mode
- enter some arbitrary date into the control
=> note that the control text is right-aligned

This is pretty bad (and used to be different in previous versions), since a date
field does not have a "Alignment" property to correct this.

this used to work in some recent build -> keyword "regression"
