Description peschtra 2004-12-19 20:54:51 UTC
When I load and Find & Replace and press [ctr]+[shift]+s it doesn't bring up the
special characters dialog like the help says it should ot like 1.1.4RC does.

To reproduce:

Open 1.9.65 Writer
Go to Edit > Find & Replace
Place cursor in Search For box
Press [ctrl]+[shitf]+s nothing happens

The Special characters menu should appear like in previous 1.1 releases.

Thanks,
Peter

Fair enough, I didn't realize you could get special character through a context
menu there.

Thanks. :)

reopen. Issue 33483 is fixed (context-menu is there and working), but the
shortcut still doesn't work.

regression keyword since it works in OOo 1.1.x

seems not to be a problem on windows..
Comment 7 eric.savary 2005-08-07 23:27:33 UTC
ES->AS: Ctrl+Shift+S does not work in edit fields. Ctrl+A doesn't either. Both
worked in OOo 1.1.4 (-> OOo 2.0.1). Do you need a separate issue for Ctrl+A?

Fixed in CWS vcl42

it looks like this works on Windows just by coincidence. It is still unclear to
me why it worked in 1.1 and before.
