Hi,
currently in OOo 1.9.65 to apply autofilter i must select the range, that is
very inconvenient if i large massive of data. Is it possible to make this
feature work as following: 
let say i have data in 20 rows (from 2 to 21) and the first row is blank,
currently to activate autofilter, i must select rows from 1 to 21 and choose
Autofilter. I think it i more convenient just to select the row 1 and choose
autofilter and program will automatically apply autofilter for rows 2 - 21. 
The programs can operate the blank line to identify where to stop applying of
autofilter, And only if i want to include custom area (data separated with blank
lines or not full area) i must select the area to which the program needs to
apply the autofilter.

Hi,

autofilter applies correctly to the whole range if the first line contains some
header information. This is how it's usefull. If you want an empty row as header
line, you have to select the area you want the autofilter applied to. This will
not be changed, so I set this as wontfix.
