Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 40060
Left edge of toolbar aligned with mouse pointer instead of toolbar window
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:40:03 UTC
Steps to reproduce: o Take a toolbar already in a non-docked, standalone window o Drag the toolbar to be docked at the top or bottom from the middle of the tool window's title bar The alignment of the toolbar's left edge is aligned with the pointer instead of the toolbar window.
Created attachment 21145 [details] Screen shot of misaligned toolbar
Unfortunately, the mouse pointer does not show in the screen shot. The screen shot shows a toolbar in the process of being docked, and the gray outline is aligned with the pointer instead of the left edge of the toolbar window.
Confirmed on OOo1.9.79 with WinXP. I am not sure if this is intentional or a bug. Personally I find this behaviour strange, so I'll mark the issue as "new". Changed component to "UI" and OS to "All" (but it should be checked in other OS, just to be sure).
reassign to requirements to evaluate if we can change this behaviour.
