Description ppun 2005-01-09 03:38:02 UTC
Set up a simple table in your spreadsheet.

A 1
B 2
C 3
B 4
D 5
B 6

Run 'auto-filter', select 'B' in column A.
copy the '2' in the first 'B' row to all 'B' rows.
It is expected that only the 'B' rows will be changed to '2'.
Now, unselect 'auto-filter'.
You will find all other non-'B's were changed.

Is this a bug?

This is happening , only when you select all and paste. If you do the paste
one by one, behaving in normal manner

Confirming..

No, it happens when I try to select one cell and paste to a range.
It is useless if it can only work with copying one by one. If you get
hundred cell, how much one has to spend?

One can compare to the result done by Excel's auto-filter.
