Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 4029
Option to move paragraph indent sliders in manageable increments not available
Last modified: 2008-06-28 00:27:18 UTC
The paragraph indent sliders (the inverted/right-side-up triangles on the document ruler at the top of the page) move only in a smooth sliding manner. This looks great but can result in pixel-hunts if one is attempting to make numerous paragraphs line up on a page or otherwise match indenting from one paragraph to another. It would be very convenient to have a feature wherein holding the "ALT" key or something similar would constrain the paragraph indent sliders to 1/4" (or 1/2 cm) increments.
I advocate this one! Reassigned to Bettina.
